Volker Albus (*1949) is a qualified architect and has worked since the early 1980s as a designer (his work is in several collections including the Neue Sammlung Munich, and the Foundation National des Arts Contemporain Paris). He also works as an exhibition maker and an author; his books include Gefühlscollagen – Wohnen von Sinnen, Cologne1986; 13 nach Memphis (with Volker Fischer), Munich 1995; anders als immer, Zeitgenössisches Design und die Macht des Gewohnten, Stuttgart 2005.
