Thomas Bene (*1963) studied business and administration at Kepler University in Linz. He subsequently worked as a chartered accountant in Zurich, for Maculan Holding in Berlin in 1992 and in 1993 for Haworth Office Furniture in Michigan, USA. He joined the family business in 1994. Thomas Bene was head of marketing until 1997, and was head of sales until 2000 from which time he worked as a member of the management team in marketing and distribution and as the company spokesperson. From 2004 to 2006 he was one of the directors for marketing and portfolio, since 2006 he is managing director of marketing and portfolio of the Bene Group, which is shortly to make its initial public offering.
