Christian Gärtner (*1972) studied economics. Only three days after starting work as a management consultant, in 2001 he founded the Internet platform Stylepark, together with Robert Volhard. Stylepark is a communication platform for product culture that extends across different media, oriented towards the designer as well as the end user. Essentially, it is a data bank for design products as well as a consultancy for design strategies and a content developer for design events. Represented for the first time as Stylepark in Residence at the furniture fair in Cologne 2003, where it was an important "off event", in 2006 Stylepark presented the new event format, Design Annual, at the Messe Frankfurt.
