Julian Riess
CEO Riess Email, Ybbsitz (A)
Julian Riess (*1954) studied industrial engineering at Graz University of Technology. He worked from 1979 to 1981 as product manager for VEW/Böhler in Vienna, and from 1982 to 1986 trained as a taxation and management consultant.
In 1997 Julian Riess entered his family business, Fa. Gebrüder Riess. This company, now run by the 9th generation of the family, supplies Austria and the rest of the world with an easily identifiable enamel cookware in pastel colours as well as with street signs. Julian Riess initially worked as head of the marketing and sales department and is today managing director of Riess Kelomat GmbH. In 2005 he once again demonstrated his willingness to expand his field of knowledge and involvement by completing a course in mediation at the Hernstein Institut, and is now a registered business mediator.
