Robert Thiemann (*1964) qualified as a chemical engineer, later became a copywriter and eventually a journalist. He specializes in design, with a strong focus on interiors. In 1997 he co-founded Frame, The Great Indoors, an international bi-monthly magazine of interior design of which he still is editor-in-chief. He is a shareholder in Frame Publishers, which started to publish books on interior design in 2001. In 2005 he co-founded Mark, Another Architecture, a bi-monthly magazine about architecture, of which he is also editor-in-chief.
