Designer, Berlin (D)
Jerszy Seymour (*1968) studied design in London. In Milan he began his independent design career with projects such as House in a Box 2002, Scum 2003, parallel to which he worked for companies such as Magis, Vitra, Swatch, Perrier, Moulinex, IDEE, Sputnik, and Smeg. His work has been widely exhibited (Design Museum, London, Vitra Design Museum, Basel and Berlin, Palais de Tokyo and Gallery kreo, Paris) and also forms part of permanent collections (including the Fondation National de Art Contemporain France). In 2005 he was guest of honour at designbrussels. Jerszy Seymour has taught in Milan, the Ecal in Lausanne and elsewhere and currently teaches at the RCA in London. Since 2004 he has lived in Berlin, where in addition to working as a designer he pursues his fascination with music in collaboration with his friend Dynamo Dreesen (acido records) and creates sound tracks for his exhibitions.
